DID THEY STEAL AN IDEA OR JUST BORROW IT?

A whirlwind rumour is blazing across corporate production circles, that the new Safaricom advertisement, involving their choir and a huge Kenya theme is plagiarized. Outraged production Guru Izzo is breathing fire at the blatant  ‘lifting’ surrounding the Ad, even as it continues to receive rave reviews.

The Safaricom Ad starts off with a comely female singer…… “Naaaffurraaaahiiiiaa……”

The Quantas airline Ad from which the safaricom Ad seems to have ‘borrowed’ somewhat heavily strts off much in the same way if you ask me, only with a small boy in the lead role and all the other singers in different scenery all over Australia.

“Look at the shots, costumes, theme, features…. This thing revolves around features of Kenya , even down to the last shot, its just the same thing…”

Having viewed both advertisement clips or as they call them ‘TVC’s’…. I will try and put the VIDEO here so you can be the judge….
